Dark Star launches a new online store with Studioworx behind the project
Dark Star is one of the leading retailers in the field of e-liquids and other vaping equipment and accessories in the UK. They used to run their operations on a Magento platform, and needed a full redesign of their website, along with the migration to Magento 2 platform.
Studioworx has been chosen as a development and design agency to carry out this task, and the new Magento 2 based store has just been launched!
The scope
The new store required a full redesign which has been covered completely by the Studioworx creative team. The new design is modern, engaging, and fully translates the message the Dark Star wishes to send. It also included a customer-centric approach to the problem, with the user experience being the focal point of the efforts to create a website that will engage customers in the right way. Shopping using this new and improved website is easy and very intuitive, without complicated procedures being present anywhere in the ordering and checkout processes.
It also required a completely new development of all the advanced features, including the integration of all payment methods, and the connection with Shipstation to enable customers to use the payment and shipping methods that they deem to be most convenient.
Finally, it required a full migration of all data from the previous website to the new one.
The end product
All of these tasks have been completed to the highest standards, and the new website is a presentation that is fully functional, extremely appealing to the eye, and created to deliver the shopping experience at the highest level of comfort and convenience.

The full project also included the development of an entire wholesale and trade website that will be used to cover the B2B sector of the business.
