Replatforming by Studioworx

Migrate your store with ease

Most eCommerce sellers fear the process of migrating to a new web platform. It takes time, can be costly, and requires you to move all your inventory and sales data.

Businesses typically think migrating eCommerce platforms is a fast-track way to ruin sales! So, businesses often avoid it for as long as they can. But, this is usually a bad idea. Migration is not going to ruin your sales. Not upgrading or changing platform could though. Your current platform could be holding you back from growth, improving your business processes, and providing a better customer experience.

Customers we have helped migrate

Miss Floral

Magento 1 to Shopify

Miss Floral is an existing customer which had a store built on Magento back in 2016. Due to the end of life support, they required suitable migration to an alternative web technology which provided an easier self-managed click and connect approach. Shopify in this case, was the most suited solution.

Shopify is a cloud based SaaS platform with a widely adopted integrated eCommerce ecosystem. Shopify's marketplace is full of one click integration solutions from ERP systems, through to core features which improves the general navigation and use of web stores. The solution even provided open-ended API integrations for more complex back office development.

Magento 1 to Magento 2

DarkStar had a legacy Magento web store that no longer suited the look and feel of the brand and required replatforming to the latest version for security up-keep. DarkStar approached Studioworx to prepare a suitable migration plan to Magento 2 which enabled a full scope of added functionality.

Magento 2 is an open source platform which comes with a large marketplace of extensions and integration partners. Magento 2 is a great platform for high-level customisations typically not available via a locked down SaaS solution.

Magento 1 to Magento 2

Quatropi worked with Studioworx to rebuild their Magento web store which had started to wear due to the level of customisations and quantity of data updates, resulting in high-level of recaching. Magento 2 was the chosen platform because it provided an ability to deliver a brand new product creation wizard not possible on any other platform.

The full design had been fully reprototyped, taking some of the ease of flow from the old and facting in this best practice into the new, with other added benefits such as dynamic mega menus, promotional and category landing pages, finance and customer product wizards.
