B2B to B2C, through web design and marketing
Background
The Fine Cotton Company has been established for over 30 years and sells luxury home textiles to the trade market.
The Fine Cotton Company approached Studioworx to discuss the replatforming from VisualSoft to Shopify. The design has been built on a bespoke theme and incorporates various B2C features for ease of usability, including a B2B purchase grid for trade. Following a marketing audit we also identified opportunities for improvement and optimisation to grow B2C revenue through PPC and email.

The Challenge
The new website needed The Fine Cotton Company to efficiently and effectively target across both B2B and B2C. Through marketing activities, they wanted to increase revenue, target their high order value consumers, and improve their customer retention.
The Process
With the migration complete, the marketing team set out to grow their B2C revenue streams. This included:
- Highly-targeted PPC, orientated around potential for higher value orders. Focusing primarily on easily-converted lower funnel
- Creating automated segmented flows through Klaviyo, as well as weekly campaigns focused on seasonal offerings to increase relevancy and engagement
- Tackling B2C awareness and recall through engaging social media, breaking the barrier from being a B2B business



This omnichannel process allowed them to grow engagement and revenue quicker than focusing on just one avenue.

The Result
The results from these changes to The Fine Cotton Company Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram, and Klaviyo have been extremely positive. When comparing performance from July to November, to performance of months previous, it is clear that the accounts are thriving.
